Race Itinerary

Day 1: TIPPeCANOE COUNTY ThursDAY 09/27/2018

TIPPECANOE COUNTY -  Tippecanoe County was formed n 1826 and named for the Anglicization of "Kethtippencanoogi", a Miami people term meaning "place of the succor fish people".  The county is best known for Purdue University and the 1811 Battle of Tippecanoe.

DAY 2: Montgomery county 09/28/2018

MONTGOMERY COUNTY - Montgomery County was formed in 1822. The county was named in honor of Richard Montgomery, and American Revolutionary War general.  The county is best known for Wabash College, Sugar Creek and the home of Lew Wallace who penned Ben Hur.

DAY 3: Putnam County 09/29/2018

PUTNAM COUNTY - Putnam County was formed in 1822 and was named in honor of Israel Putnam, who was a hero in the French and Indiana War and a general in the American Revolutionary War.  Putnam County is most known for DePauw University, covered bridges and Equine Agritourism.

Day 4: Monroe County 09/30/2018

MONROE COUNTY - Monroe County was formed in 1818 and named for James Monroe, the fifth President of the United States.  Monroe County is best known its county seat, Bloomington - home of Indiana University, the Hoosier National Forest, and Monroe Lake.  The area is also renowned for its rich limestone history. 

Day 5: bROWN cOUNTY 10/01/2018

BROWN COUNTY - Brown County was formed in 1836 and was named after Major General Jacob Brown, a hero of the War of 1812.  Brown County is best known for the town of Nashville and the Brown County State Park.

 

Prepare for you Trip:

When your team has been selected to compete in the INDIANA FILM RACE, you will  be assigned locations for your script.  There will be a live, limited trade session to assemble the ideal location selection for your crew and to be written into your script. Your crew will have five weeks to make the completion of the script. There will be an opening ceremony, Wednesday, September 26, 2018 that your crew will be responsible to accommodate the travel to the starting location. Getting ramped up for your crew to travel in a IFR provided RV to each location for the next five days of filming.
